  1. Are you triggered by voices? sounds? sights?
I’m mostly triggered by a combination of sight and sounds, but sometimes I get tingles by sight or sound individually.

Which of the above trigger types is the strongest for you?
I have to say that sound is the biggest one for me.

Can you experience ASMR by listening to a video with the screen off?
I first I thought I couldn’t, but I was proven wrong recently when watching a video by an ASMRtist by the name of “Sunset Glow ASMR” on youtube. Her microphone brushing video game me so many tingles even with my eyes closed.

What specific actions, sounds, scenarios, or role-plays in a video stimulate your ASMR the strongest?
When they shine a pen light to the camera, wiping the lens of the camera… Come to think of it, anything that involves personal attention.

Do your immediate surroundings make a difference to your ability to experience ASMR from a video?
Actually, no! all I have to do is plug in my headphones, and pull up a youtube video. I’m instantly in a different world.

Do you prefer intentional ASMR videos or unintentional ASMR videos?
I prefer unintentional ASMR… The tingles are most intense for some reason.

Who are your favorite ASMR artists and why do you like them better than other artists?
Right now one of my favorites is “Sunset Glow ASMR” on youtube… She just seems so genuine and you can tell she works hard to put out good content.
Also, the most famous ones like “ASMR Darling, Gentle Whispering ASMR, & ASMR promo”… There are others.. I watch depending on what I’m in the mood for.

For you, is the ASMR stimulated by a video similar or different from the ASMR stimulated by a real world situation?
Not similar at all. The triggers that get me relaxed on video are quite different. In real life, I don’t get triggered by tapping or whispering. I normally get triggered by someone wiping a table, or dry mopping the floor.
