I have no idea why, but yes. In the same way my partner can elicit that feeling when he leans down to my neck and whispers in my ear, it gives me an oddly turned on feeling. Which is really weird. It only does that though when i put in earbuds to listen to it.

Does your ASMR feel the same as a sexual response?
No. it doesn’t. It’s not sexual, even if it’s very intense and sensual.
How is your ASMR similar to a sexual response?
I need to be in a safe surroundings and with a person that makes me feel safe to experiance them.
Both can be intense.
How is your ASMR different from a sexual response?
A sexual response such as sexual attraction, sexual arousal or an orgasm can be very overwhelming, sometimes intimidating for me, because I have sexual traumas. It can be very stressful.
ASMR is calming, soothing, comforting, not stressing in any way thanks to its non sexual nature, it always leaves me wanting more.
I find that ASMR induces a sense of closeness and intimacy, it calms me down and can help prepare me for a less stressful, way more pleasurable sexual experiance. ASMR can heighten sexual pleasure.
Some of my ASMR Triggers relates to men, and them touching me or talking to me. If a man induces ASMR in me, I’ll find him more attractive.

ASMR feels like more of a sexual feeling. It sounds like it was meant to turn someone on. Or a sound that should be played while have sex if your into stuff like that.
