University is seeking Ph.D. candidates interested in studying the bioacoustics of ASMR

Edge Hill University in Lancashire, England is seeking Ph.D. applicants interested in doing research on the bioacoustics of ASMR.

The research project will be overseen by Michel Belyk Ph.D., Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology.

Dr. Belyk shares more details about this opportunity,

I am recruiting applicants for our research-based Ph.D. program in Psychology at Edge Hill University in the UK and seeking applicants who would be suitable to a research program that I am building around the bioacoustics of ASMR.

Likely projects may include acoustical analyses of ASMR eliciting stimuli, auditory playback and rating, simple biometric measurements, and perhaps some brain imaging.

However, there is also quite a lot of scope for flexibility.”
