How did you discover that ASMR helps you to deal with stress?
When I am stressed, I realize that I do ASMR to try to calm myself down/keep myself calm (like tapping on something/a surface, for example).
Are there specific ASMR triggers or ASMR artists that help you to deal with stress the most?
YES.
How does ASMR compare with other methods or treatments you have used to deal with stress?
It works just as well, but not as convient to watch a video when I’m out and about as it is to do it myself, perse.
Have you been diagnosed by a clinician with anxiety, PTSD, OCD or other related condition?
Anxiety, yes.
Have you discussed the effect of ASMR on your stress with your clinician?
No, I haven’t been back to the doctor in quite awhile (for anything anxiety related).
